Fjords & the Preikestolen cliff
Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) is one of Norway’s most visited attractions, and is one of the natural wonders of Norway, making it a popular photo subject. It rises 604 metres above the Lysefjord, a 40 km long classic Norwegian fjord. Views of Lysefjord from Preikestolen’s summit are panoramic.
We visited Preikestolen cliff and the Norwegian Fjords in 2012 as part of our Scandinavia & Russia trip.
Jökulsarlon Glacier Lagoon is located in Southeast Iceland, a truly a unique place. There is black sand beaches, waterfalls, glaciers, diamond beach and more. You can see the floating icebergs on the glacier lagoon and can even take a boat ride on the lagoon and sail around the icebergs.
We visited Jökulsarlon Lagoon in 2013.
